UAE National Day 2021, celebrates 50 years since the UAE’s formal nationalisation in 1971. In UAE style, these celebrations were a global spectacle, staged in the Hatta Dam. All about the UAE National Day sound The incredible design team from led by Es Devlin came up with the amazing concept. Undeniably, the creativity in this design work is remarkable. The opening show included water displays, light shows, drone-launched fireworks and 5.1 surround sound. Notably, to celebrate the location of the celebrations an immersive audio system of over 950 speakers was installed to exaggerate the space. We supplied, installed and maintained the audio system designed by Scott Willsallen. Arguably, this is one of our most complex projects to date, and our ten staff worked tirelessly to make this happen. Loudspeaker System – A four-part system consisting of, personal 5.1 systems, sides, panorama & mountain systems. The near-field and far-field systems enabled spatial listening and depth of field. Audio Control System – Mirrored DiGiCo SD7Q consoles with a pair of L-ISA processors connected using MADI. Racks and various network devices distributed sound around the vast venue. The UAEFA football match between Al Wahda and Sharjah for the president’s Cup final of the season 2021-2022, was played on Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain, after a 20 minute opening ceremony. This UAE National Day took the audience on a generational journey of the UAE’s inspiring pioneers as viewers were transported from sea to space, and showcased the rich culture, present-day achievements as well as future goals and ambitions. All about the UAE 51st National Day sound A multiple loops redundant system distributed signal to over 700 speakers, delivering the ambitious project of providing immersive audio to the audience spread over 100m. The join of DiGiCo SD7Q, L-Acoustics L-ISA II Processor and TiMax SoundHub Spatial Audio processor dip the audience into an audio spatialized environment with the suggestive audio ambiance provided by the speaker hanged over the entire venue. Joy awards is a yearly event held in Riyadh, KSA, to celebrate the best in Arabic music, film, television and cinema. All about the Joy Awards The audio system provided by Agora LLC for the 2023 edition, consisted of a main stereo PA of L-Acoustics Kara II and a centre array of L-Acoustics KS28, a front-fills system of L-Acoustics 5XT, Syva and Syva Low and L-Acoustics X12 as a delay system for the upper balcony seats. Flown L-Acoustics X15 HiQ speakers have been provided to ensure a full-stage performers monitoring system.  The entire system was driven by a full L-Acoustics LA12X rig and a LA7.16i. The audio control system consists of a Digico SD7Q dual engine at FOH and a Digico Q338 as a monitor console. A reliable and fully redundant inputs and outputs signal distribution has been ensured thanks to an Optocore network loop, consisting of Digico SD Racks, Optocore DD2 FR-FX, Optocore X6R (FX and TP) and M12 for MADI, AES-EBU and Analog signals routing between the FOH desk, Monitors desk, replay system, RF system and Broadcast OB Vans. RF system: Shure Axient microphones (AD4Q, ADX1, ADX2, AXT600, ShowLink), Shure PSM1000 and Sennheiser SR2050 IEMS. The replay was a fully redundant QLAB 5 Pro system running on a couple of Apple Mac Studio.
